After a determination that the original wind sensor was defective, we replaced the wind sensor (called an anemometer) of the Temecula weather station this afternoon.
It's not known how long the wind sensor has been defective. We will attempt to determine the affected period and disregard the data, so it won't be used for computing normal wind conditions.
Thanks to Ron Prigee for helping to diagnose the failure. |
