A wildfire in the Reche Canyon area along the Riverside / San Bernardino county line was quickly contained after breaking out Saturday afternoon.
Despite cool weather, the fire, near Scott and Reche Canyon roads, quickly grew to 125 acres, according to the Riverside County Fire Department. No structures were threatened and there were no injuries reported.
The fire was contained at 8pm Saturday.
The firefighting effort involved crews from five different agencies, including units from Cal Fire San Bernardino, Cal Fire Riverside, Colton City Fire, Loma Linda, and San Bernardino County. |
