A dirty anemometer at the Riverside weather station was replaced Saturday morning.
Wind readings from the site had been substantially less than the other stations, and were due to dirt and grit that had accumulated in the sensor.
Some of the equipment had accumulated a lot of dust from Santa Ana conditions last year. The rain gauge and temperature/humidity sensor were also cleaned. |
