A series of shortwave troughs brought light amounts of rain to the region Tuesday night through Thursday, with snow levels above 7,000 feet. The final trough brought the most rain to some locations.
Precipitation totals were under 0.30 inches, with the exception of Fallbrook - which recorded an extraordinary total of 0.71 inches. De Luz, San Bernardino, and San Diego's City Heights were also on the high end of storm totals this time around. Other notable totals were in East Highland (0.22, courtesy of Peter Michas), and East San Jacinto (0.18, courtesy of Monty Parrott). 0.26 inches was also reported in Temecula Valley's Wine Country (courtesy of Jim Sappington). Some locations, such as Menifee, Wildomar, Pinon Hills and Simi Valley - did not record any measurable precipitation at all. Most of the rain fell early in the morning Wednesday. The storms continued the trend of weak storms in a cool November this year.
