The Fallbrook weather station rain gauge appears to be malfunctioning, which has caused some apparent rainfall to be backed out over the past weekend and yesterday. Yesterday, 0.16" were recorded over a couple of hours where there was none. 0.02" on Saturday were affected by the same problem.
Fortunately, Tom Chester, whose property the weather station is on, takes manual rain gauge readings and is able to ferret out problems like this.
It's unlikely the problem will be resolved ahead of Wednesday and Thursday's storm, so you may see us adjust totals yet again. |
