Today WeatherCurrents marked the one year anniversary of its Fallbrook station. The Fallbrook installation was the fourth weather station in the WeatherCurrents network, and the first in San Diego County. The WeatherCurrents network now contains eight stations.
One year ago today, the weather data feed from the Winterwarm area began, with temperature, humidity, and barometric pressure data. Precipitation data was added on June 20th, 2004, the wind sensor installation was complete July 11th, 2004, and the site was officially unveiled July 14th, 2004. Custom graphics were added in October.
The weather station recorded the wettest rain season in Fallbrook history this past year, one which is not quite over yet. |
