Wind Sensor Remounted

The wind sensor at the Menifee Valley weather station in Sun City was remounted yesterday in the early afternoon. WeatherCurrents has transitioned to a sturdier, more traditional mount for most of its stations.

Previously, the pole on which the wind sensor was mounted in Sun City flexed with the wind and wasn't often totally straight. The new mount has increased rigidity and should allow for slightly more accurate readings.
