A cold low pressure system brought wet weather to the region this week, in the form of scattered showers Tuesday and Wednesday.
Storm totals were mostly under 1/4 of an inch, with the notable exceptions of Beaumont (Cherry Valley) and Moreno Valley, which recorded totals of 0.63 inches and 0.35 inches respectively. Totals of 0.58 inches and 0.57 inches were reported in East Highland and Yucaipa as well (courtesy of Peter Michas and Don Kramer). Most WeatherCurrents stations recorded cumulative totals under 0.20 inches over a three-day period. In Temecula Valley Wine Country, 0.02 inches was also reported (courtesy of Jim Sappington). Only WeatherCurrents' main station in South Temecula did not record any measurable rainfall.
The unsettled weather was replaced by a warming trend beginning on Thursday. Fair, warm weather is expected to continue into next week.
