Although some showers and drizzle started early Wednesday (according to a report from Sun City), the main part of the storm didn't arrive until Wednesday evening, with the cold front. Once the cold front moved through, very few showers occurred in its wake, even though Thursday was cool and partly cloudy.

For this storm, the highest totals were south and north. De Luz once again led the way, with 0.63", and Fallbrook was close behind, at 0.55". WeatherCurrents' brand new San Bernardino station was next with 0.42", followed by the Temecula Valley Wine Country (0.40"), Moreno Valley (0.36") and Temecula (0.33").

San Jacinto and Riverside recorded the weakest results at 0.18". East San Jacinto (courtesy of Monty Parrot) received only 0.14" for the storm.

A colder, wetter storm is predicted for Friday night and Saturday, and could add another 1.25" or more to the totals for the month. A third, weaker storm is possible in the middle of next week. With the additional storms, some communities might see February rainfall totals rise to the normal range, but most communities will likely be short of what we normally see in this wet month.

Normal ranges from 1.62" (Riverside) to 2.66" (Murrieta) to 3.62" (Temecula) and as high as 3.99" (Fallbrook).

Season totals in nearly every location have been above what's expected in an entire year since the epic December rainfall.

With the addition of the San Bernardino station, WeatherCurrents stations now number fifteen in Riverside, San Bernardino and San Diego counties.

The following rainfall totals were recorded Wednesday through early Thursday:

1. San Bernardino totals began February 11, 2011.
2. Wildomar totals are not complete for October.
3. San Jacinto totals are not complete for November.
