A weak, but cold storm front brought scattered showers to the region late Christmas Eve and early Christmas morning.
Precipitation totals were mostly under 1/10 of an inch, with the exception of South Fallbrook, which recorded 0.11 inches. Several WeatherCurrents stations did not record any rain at all. The storm, like other recent storms this winter, was abnormally cold and moisture-starved. Snow levels in the mountains reportedly fell to 5,000 feet.
