An article in The Californian Saturday by Dave Downey mentioned current rainfall for the season as recorded by WeatherCurrents' Temecula station, also known as TemeculaWeather.com. Although rainfall is currently running better than normal, drought conditions remain in effect because so much of our water comes from elsewhere:
