Riverside Weather Station to be Re-established in January

A new location has been found for WeatherCurrents' Riverside weather station, thanks to Jim Ness of Inland Empire News Radio. The station will be established in January, 2006 at the offices of Inland Empire News Radio in the Canyon Crest area of Riverside. The original Riverside weather station was within a mile of the new location. It was established in 2005, but suffered from a multitude of problems. The station was ultimately pulled out when the homeowner sold the home where it was located. Jim Ness has also agreed to help WeatherCurrents establish a Perris weather station at his home, sometime on 2006. Coupled with planned stations in Moreno Valley and San Jacinto, this should greatly increase weather coverage in the area next year. |
