Severe thunderstorms across the Inland Empire!

A severe thunderstorm has built rapidly near Perris. A Severe Thunderstorm Warning is in effect until 3:45 pm. Expect hail up to quarter size.

The storm is building to the south along the Elsinore Convergence Zone...which means more storms could develop over the next hour between Lake Elsinore and Hemet.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SAN DIEGO HAS ISSUED A

* SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR... WEST CENTRAL RIVERSIDE COUNTY IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA... THIS INCLUDES THE CITY OF MORENO VALLEY... EXTREME SOUTHWESTERN SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA...

* UNTIL 345 PM PDT

* AT 248 PM PDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING QUARTER SIZE HAIL. THIS STORM WAS LOCATED NEAR PERRIS...OR 6 MILES SOUTH OF MORENO VALLEY. THIS STORM WAS NEARLY STATIONARY...BUT BUILDING TO THE SOUTH.

* THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WILL BE NEAR...
