Rubidoux weather station begins installation

We're hoping to finish work next weekend on WeatherCurrents' 16th community weather station and site, in Rubidoux in the Jurupa Valley. Installation of the site began on Saturday, March 5th, and we're planning to finish within the next two weeks. The location is a couple of miles northeast of the Riverside Municipal Airport. The new weather station will be WeatherCurrents' 14th in Riverside County, and will provide up-to-date weather for more residents in the Riverside metro, complementing our Riverside location in Canyon Crest, which has been in operation since 2006, and continuing our recent additions of stations in the Inland Empire. San Bernardino and Beaumont have already been added to our network this year. Plans are also being laid for the addition of a Corona weather station, which could come online later this year. |
