Homes, trees and fences were reported damaged by a tornado Saturday morning in the Rainbow Canyon area of Temecula.
"There is significant damage all along our street, and in the surrounding area. Trees blew over, fences are down, roof tiles flew!" reported Lisa King, a resident of the area.
The tornado struck around 9:45am. It previously had been in the Fallbrook area, according to the National Weather Service, and apparently came into the Temecula Valley through the Rainbow gap.
The Rainbow Canyon area is in south Temecula, near Pechanga Parkway. |
