Something new is the forecast detail page, which is accessible from the "Forecast" link on the left hand side of each weather site. This page will lay out the seven day forecast for the community.

Forecasts are hand-updated most days. When a forecast hasn't been updated, WeatherCurrents will now display a red "Forecast Not Current" message by the synopsis. This will help you determine at a glance whether or not we've updated it yet.

A second new feature is the addition of a 30 day sunrise and sunset almanac page. This page is accessible from the Sunrise & Sunset section on the main page of each weather site. It shows sunrise and sunset times for about the next month, for those who are curious.

The last new feature is direct links to the daily archive days from the "Recently" page on each communities' main page. The daily archive pages can display slowly at times; be patient if you click one of these links.

Future planned additions to the forecasts include an auto-forecast feature, which would computer-generate a forecast in the early morning before we embellish it, and a "how did we do" section on the forecast detail page. The "how did we do" section would compare and contrast our predictions of high and low temperatures versus what actually happened.

Future planned additions to the sunrise and sunset almanac page include the dates and times of upcoming solstices and equinoxes, and moonrise and moonset times, as well the moon phase.

Many requests have been made for things we haven't been able to get to yet. At the top of the list are chill hours and radar and satellite data.
