As of noon on Monday, Temecula (0.03"), San Bernardino (0.02"), De Luz (0.02"), Riverside (0.01") and French Valley (0.01") had enough precipitation to be measurable. Jim Sappington recorded 0.08" in the Temecula Valley Wine Country. Most other communities had sprinkles or drizzle that wasn't enough to register.

Fair skies and a warming trend were poised to take over for Tuesday through Thursday. Temperatures are predicted to slowly rise into the middle 70's to middle 80's in warmer locations.

Some significant wind gust speeds for Monday morning: 29 mph in Temecula, 26 mph in Murrieta, 24 mph in Wildomar, Lake Elsinore and French Valley, 23 mph in Menifee, and 20 mph in Fallbrook and Perris. Winds were not as strong to the north in Riverside and San Bernardino, nor to the south in Fallbrook and De Luz.

For Sunday evening: 28 mph in Temecula, 26 mph in Lake Elsinore and Murrieta, 25 mph in French Valley, 24 mph in Wildomar, 22 mph in San Bernardino, Menifee and Perris, and 21 mph in Riverside.

Another round of light rain is on the horizon for next weekend.
