In Temecula, where records cover the entire decade, June came in at 72.3°F, exceeding the prior warmest June of 71.0°F, set in 2000. The average June is 68°F.

In Hemet, June, 2006 was 77.1°F. The average June there (since 2003) is 71°F. The prior warmest was 69.7°F in 2003.

All other WeatherCurrents stations have three years of data or less, and all recorded record Junes. The warmest was Lake Elsinore at 77.3°F for the month, slightly warmer than Hemet.

The National Weather Service reports that June at Lindbergh Field in San Diego was the third warmest on record with an average temperature of 70.8°F. The average there is 67.5°F, and 72.9°F was the record in June, 1981.
