Frost advisory for Monday morning

By John C. Toman. Posted December 4, 2011, 9:43 PM.

A second night of freezing temperatures is predicted to lead to frost in wind-sheltered areas on Monday morning.

The National Weather Service has issued a frost advisory for Monday morning.

A high wind warning is also in effect for Southern California's inland valleys. Dry winds are expected to gust to 25-35 mph from the northeast overnight.

Lows will fall into the 20's and 30's Monday morning, following Sunday morning's pattern, which would put mainly Southwest Riverside County and the San Gorgonio pass area at risk of freezing temperatures.

The Riverside and San Bernardino metropolitan areas, as well as Fallbrook, De Luz and Hemet, are not forecast to be affected by frost or freezing temperatures, but temperatures in those locations could get down into the 30's.
