The rain gauge at the San Jacinto weather station was damaged during Santa Ana winds last month and is not currently operational.
We have been unable to repair it as of yet and so there are no rain readings currently from the station.
The rain gauge shroud actually blew off during wind gusts and hasn't been found. Replacing it will involve preventing it from blowing off in similar or worse winds in the future.
Estimates for rainfall for Saturday and Sunday, March 15th and 16th for the site are between one half and one inch. |
