Hemet's high Sunday of 109.2°F was the hottest recorded there since operations began in January, 2003. It was also the hottest temperature recorded by a WeatherCurrents station this year. The previous all-time high in Hemet was 105.1°F on September 21st, 2003. Sunday's record temperature marked the 11th day above triple digits this year to date.
